We are a 501(c)3 multidisciplinary organization that boasts representation from key components of the community who link together toward a common goal. Organized in 1999, our objective is to raise awareness and demonstrate intervention strategies leading to a more comprehensive understanding of the connection between animal abuse and other, escalating forms of human violence. In particular, we support human-animal bond based interventions that have a demonstrated, positive impact on breaking ‘the link’ between animal abuse and human violence. We hold conferences in Phoenix, Arizona, in support of that objective.
